Wow, you really do get the maple tree <3 I love every perfectly thought out and constructed line; not a word wasted. That first stanza is so powerful, the way you talk about the difficulty of being in that difficult "real world"; it feels like it brings you to your knees.
But the power, the oneness, the kindness and beauty of the maple can unite us and bring us back to our center. "Can you hold my isolation as I exhale?" What a brilliant question and image. I imagine a creature of the tree, or the tree itself
holding your isolation as you let go. Beautiful, beautiful poem.
