I'm so intrigued by the meterorite's agency throughout, or at least the metaphor of the meteorite, until the last stanza "drew me down/into the ground/with your humanity" when the human experience seems to meld with the celestial. Maybe you didn't write it as a positive, but that's how I read it, M.T. I'm curious to hear what drove you here, but only if you want to share. <3
