I love where this poem heads in my head and heart, flowing toward the oneness, but flowing from the original separateness morphing into the oneness/ power of love... "Drawn into one/this oneness proves/beyond a doubt/the truest true/That you need me and I need you." This is magnificent, whether concerning the cosmic one, or a one special connection you have with someone. But It's really all the same though, right?
And in my reading, "Back to blast" and then "Beginnings bright/come into view/Our separateness we start to lose" refers to the cosmic bang and what came after, though that may not have been your intention at all. Just how I read it. Thanks, M.T., for another thought-provoking and moving piece. (And thanks for serving up this joy on my bathroom floor.)
