As a parent who was parented by parents who had many, many problems and shortcomings, I've tried so hard to be a conscious parent. I've failed many times. I take great comfort in your wisdom, Aparna, as I'm still growing as a parent, even though my daughter is just about an adult herself. My daughter, being who she is, has challenged me in ways I never foresaw; I have tried to flow with her to the best of my ability.
